Plant Selection

Our inventory is ever changing. If you can’t find what you are looking for please ask! We are happy to do special orders.

Annuals flower and die within one year. Though they need to be replanted each spring, they give a great colorful bang for your buck because they stay in bloom longer than perennials.

Popular annual flowers include petunias, marigolds, zinnias and impatiens. If you’re looking for something a little more exotic than these traditional bedding plants, try nasturtiums, snap dragons, or sweet peas.

Pops of autumn color really compliment those fantastic heirloom pumpkins. Try pansies, violas, iceland poppies, calendula and ornamental kale. Use cyclamen and primrose to brighten up the winter months.

Our bare root roses arrive in biodegradable plantable pots from both Weeks Roses and Star Roses. Over 800 roses come to our nursery in early January. Only Grade A roses here! Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when they arrive!

We carry the most extensive selection of houseplants on the peninsula. We aim to accommodate every size, style and light requirement with the hundreds of varieties in our greenhouse. We strive to offer only the healthiest and best looking plants available. We hand-pick our orchids and airplants to bring you the coolest varieties on the market.

Limited sun doesn’t mean limited planting options. Let us show you both of our shade sections full of ferns, Camellias, grasses and much, much more.

We have an array of all shapes and sizes in our expanded succulent greenhouse. We would be surprised if you couldn’t find something you love! As you walk down the driveway you will come upon 5 rows dedicated to low water, mostly native plants. These plants are the bones of sustainable CA landscapes.

Our large selection of non-GMO vegetable and herb starts changes with the seasons. You will find the widest variety of deciduous fruit trees in January when our high quality bare roots arrive.

If you live on the Monterey Peninsula you know deer! Although organic deer repellent is an option, your best bet is to select deer resistant plants to begin with. We are always happy to walk you through the best plant choices for your yard.
